とても上手に英語でかけているので、一部ブログで紹介します。

He was born in Hiroshima in 1968. He was a professional baseball player. He was a "big brother" to many players. "Iron Man" is his nickname. He has the record for the number of playing days. It is a great record that I think the players respect about Kanemoto. It is a world record of 1492 games playing all inning in consecutive games. He kept playing the game, even after any injury. I think baseball is not quite like that. I respect the players who stayed in the game like Kanemoto. I felt the importance of effort.

The person I respect is YUI.

She was born in Fukuoka in 1987. She is a singer song writer. She sang songs with her guitar. I began playing the guitar, I respect her. She debuted when she was seventeen. I'm always encouraged by all of the songs made by her. The words of her songs are written about her conflicts. They are sympathized with by many people. "Good-bye days" "Rolling Star" "CHE.R.RY" and "HELLO" are her famous songs. "Good-bye days" is the most popular. She has been taking a break from her musical activities now. I'm sad about it but I'm looking forward that she'll come back again. I respect her because she sings and plays the guitar very well and always tries something new.

昨日を愛するように、今日を生きよう。明日もきっと同じ気持ちでいたいから。 I LOVED YESTERDAY.

The person I respect is Senno Rikyuu.

He was born in Sakai in 1522. He was a merchant and master of the tea ceremony. He made up the rules of the tea ceremony. Before that, the tea ceremony was one of the amusements, but Rikyuu changed it to art. He served Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi and he served tenka-bito and their guests. He was respected by the people around him, but Hideyoshi was afraid of Rikyuu's power, so he ordered Rikyuu to kill himself. Rikyuu died on April 21 of 1591.

"茶道"とは、単にお茶を飲むだけでなく、そこに精神的な深さを追及するものである。利休は、『人生は何がおこるかわからない。だからこそ、今あなたに会えたこの瞬間を大切にしたい。』という"一期一会の精神"を一杯のお茶に込めたと伝えられている。

The person I respect is Saori Yoshida.

She was born in Mie Prefecture. She is a wrestler and she got a gold medal at the London Olympics. After the Olympics, she got a People's Honor Award. Everybody got spirit, hope and courage from her. She achieved "13 tournament continuation world one," and it was authorized by Guinness world record. I respect her because she is very strong and never gives up. I want to become someone like her who never gives up!

確かに吉田沙保里さんはたくさんの人に希望を与えていますね。彼女のように何事にもあきらめない人になってくださいね。

　新中２・中３の希望者を対象にカナダ研修説明会を行い、６０名を越える生徒保護者が参加してくださいました。中井教頭挨拶、マイツアーズの熊代さんによる旅行日程説明など約１時間３０分に及ぶ説明会はあっという間に時間が過ぎていきました。現地のヘレン先生とのスカイプでのやり取りでは生徒が英語で質問をしました。かなり緊張したと思いますが、勇気を持って頑張りました。多くの生徒が参加し、大きく成長してくれることを望んでいます。なお参加申し込み締め切りは３月２２日（金）となっていますのでよろしくお願いします。

今日が、各学年最後の授業日でした。

中3では、ある映画のセリフを紹介しました。
生徒にはどういう意味なのかを考えてもらいました。

『The Pursuit of Happyness(わざと、スペルミスです。正しくはhappiness)』、日本語の映画名は『幸せのちから』です。

実在するクリス・ガードナー(Chris Gardner)の半生をもとに描かれている映画です。詳しいお話は映画で見てください。

クリスは仕事がうまくいかず、バスケットボール選手になりたいという息子に向かって「お前はバスケットボール選手なんか向いていないから、諦めろ。」と言います。息子は「わかった。」とうつむきました。クリスは少し黙りこみ、その後のこう言いました。(話し言葉なので文法的に間違っていても原文そのままなのでご了承ください。)

Hey. Don't let somebody tell you you can't do something. Not even me. All right?
You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do something by themselves, they want to tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.

let + O + 動詞の原型：Oに動詞の原型〔やりたいことを〕させる、させてやる

例) I'll let you decide. ((直)私はあなたに決めさせる。/あなたが決めて。お任せします。)

gotta： ～しなければならない。(普段、話す時に使う表現で、(have) got toの省略。)
protect～：～を守る
by oneself：自分で、独力で、一人で
go get it： go and get itもしくは、go to get itのandかtoが省略した形

訳）おい。誰にも「お前にはできない」となんて言わせるな。私にでもさえだ。わかったか。
お前には夢がある。それを守らなければならない。自分でできない人が、「お前にはできない」と言いたがる。欲しいものがあるのなら、取りに行け。それだけだ。

日本語にすると、その英語の表現の雰囲気が伝わりにくいような気はします。英語そのままの表現でわかるようになればばっちりですね。
