【アイルランド研修】生徒記事09

I'm having the best days in Ireland!
Today,l am going to talk about my school life.
There are a lot of Italian students in my class.
They are really enthusiastic about giving their opinions.l'm doing my best as hard as they are.
We can say our opinions or thoughts anytime during classes.This is the biggest difference from Japanese classes.I love this type of classes.
Also,all the Italian students leave the classroom as soon as they have a time break.And they will come back at the last minute.It made me laugh at first, but now l'm the same.We have a walk outside the classroom.

I learned one thing that is really important to build friendships.You should speak English when someone from different countries are around you.If you speak Japanese during the time break or whenever,you will miss the opportunity to make friends without noticing.

I usually eat lunch or talk with Italians group.l'm the only Japanese,so they sometimes use Italian language.l felt sad this kind of thing happened at first,but now l know what l should do in that situation.l just make a response like "Uh-huh." with smiling.Then,they will be surprised like"You can understand Italian!?"And when l say no,they will laugh.Then we can talk in English again or they teach me Italian language.Actually,it really worked:)

One of my Spanish friends was learning Japanese,and he was really nice.He said that he wanted to live in Japan someday.And he said that he would visit me someday.l hope he can make his dream come true.Also,my new Italian friend likes Japan.She knows more about Japanese manga and anime than l do.And l heard that her brother was learning Japanese.l was really glad to hear that.

Did you know that a lot of students here have three months for summer holiday?And they have no homework!It must be nice for them to have many experiences to decide their future.

Overall,living in Ireland is awesome!l have really nice host family and a nice roommate.l think l can live here if l have my family here:)

I've set my goal of English in my mind,so if l achieve it,l am going to study another language.This is because l learned how wonderful it is to know about people all around the world through common language.We are just speaking different languages.There's no big difference between us.We can be friends with anyone regardless of the country.

This two weeks must be one of my best memories in my life!

初日は今日から2週間長いな、不安だなと思っていたけどアイルランドに来て1週間が経った頃から、こっちの生活がとても楽しいし毎日色々な発見があって、今では日本に帰るの嫌だなって思っています。午前中の英語の授業では単語、文法だけではなく、アイルランドの文化・スポーツ・歴史についても学び、聞くだけではなく自分たちが発言したりペア・グループでの交流や週の終わりには前に出ての発表があってとても充実しています。毎日外国人の積極性に負けないように必死に頑張っています。お昼ご飯は大学の食堂で食べていますが、毎日違うメニューでとても美味しいです。ポテトはもちろん毎日あります!
午後は現地学生と交流したり、スポーツをしたり様々です。今日の午後はバスツアーでした。2階は屋根がなくとても開放的でたくさん写真を撮りました。帰りはいつもと違ってトラムに乗って途中まで行ってそこからバスに乗って帰りました。家に帰ってからはイタリア人・スペイン人の留学生と話しながらご飯を食べて、家の近くの公園で子供達と遊びました。
明日はお土産を買ったりできるかもしれないのでとても楽しみです!
たくさんお土産を買うつもりなのでスーツケースに頑張って詰め込んで無事に日本に帰りたいなと思います。後残り数日ですが、悔いの残らないようにできることをしたいなと思います!
