2024年度第7回即興型英語ディベート
On Monday September 30th from 15:45 to 17:45, we held the seventh debate meeting of the year.
This was the first meeting where students had the chance to do two debates in a row and their practice skills more intensively. The two topics were High school should introduce eSports as a regular course.（高校の正規科目として、eスポーツを導入するべきだ。） and Priority seats on trains should be abolished.（ 電車の優先席を廃止するべきだ。). The students did well and showed that they are becoming more comfortable with debating in English. This was clear from not just the teacher obversation, but also the comments in the quesitonnaire completed after the debates.

The next meeting is next week, so we are excited to see them all debate again soon.
