カナダ中期留学レポート④ Final

カナダに１月から留学中の、中学３年生２名の生徒からレポートが届いています。今回が第４弾で、最終レポートになります。（残り１週間で帰国です。）充実したカナダ生活の様子と日本人留学生との関わりについての考え方の変化を伝えてくれています。

Last week, there were badminton tryouts after school. We joined it and played badminton. The new season will start from April, so the coach will choose who will attend the competition. It was fun, but we all got tired the next day.

In the food class, we used to do baking, but we started cooking last week. We cooked scalloped potatoes, three sisters' soup, chicken cutlets and roasted vegetables. It is a little difficult to read the recipe and make it perfectly, but I've never cooked in Hibari, so it is fun.

My host sister's birthday was last Sunday, and her friend came to our house. My host mother and I went to Vancouver to pick the cakes up. The cake was good and it was a fun day. The Italian student and I gave my host sister cosmetics and she was happy to receive it.　　　（Sさん）

Hi! Good evening everyone!　Lately, I have been into visiting nearby cafes and eating great food. The other day I had a cup of tapioca milk tea. It was very sweet and delicious. And just the right amount of sweetness for my very sweet tooth.

I think I have met a lot of people during my two months of study abroad. Foreign friends from school, teachers, people I met on sightseeing trips, my host mother, and her friends. Among them, I was worried that being with Japanese people would reduce my opportunities to speak English, especially since my school had a large Japanese population, but I believe that my worries were unnecessary because I had overwhelmingly many opportunities to use English in class and daily life. Rather, I think I was able to broaden my narrow way of thinking by deepening my interactions with senior students who have been studying in Canada for a long time.　There is only one week left of my life in Canada, but I would like to enjoy my last study abroad experience to the fullest.　　　　（Iさん）
