USJ field frip for second year high school students on November 13, 2013.
Last Wednesday (11/13) was a special day for second year high school students at Hibarigaoka Gakuen. It was a day on which all junior high school students and first and second year high school students could go on field trips to various locations. For the second year high school students, the destination this year was USJ.
Spirits were high that day because USJ is a favorite among students. Though the weather was a bit chilly (some would say "cold"), this did not deter students from going on some of the rides which expose you to the elements. I saw a number of students lined up for Jaws and was surrounded by students in line for Jurassic Park. We even seemed excited to get wet at the bottom of the final plunge on the Jurassic Park attraction.
A few other teachers and I walked around the park throughout the day and we were so pleased to see the broad smiles on the faces of our students. There is something truly wonderful about the kind of experience you can have at an exciting place like USJ. Last Wednesday, these students could simply enjoy the thrill of the attractions and the camaraderie of good friends. I imagine that a lot of good memories were made last Wednesday.
