ドイツから1か月本校に滞在していた留学生のヘダさんは、今日の体育大会で最終日となり、閉会式の際にお別れの言葉を語ってもらいました。
授業だけでなく、体育大会、さらに柔道部と、本校の生活を満喫していました。この思い出を大切にして、これからもがんばってください。

This year, we've started a new program called "Reading Marathon Plus" with the first year junior high school students. At the moment, the students are teamed up into two groups, "Group Rainbow" and "Group Diamond", and are reading selected books from the Oxford Bookworm Series.

Today, W. and R. read O. Henry's "The Christmas Present" with me. We went through the story, discussing how Della and Jim tried their best to prepare Christmas presents for each other. Although the couple cannot use their wonderful presents right away, they leave the scene with smiles on their faces, leaving us with equally warm smiles. Yes, this is a love story.

So, what's going to be on our plate in our next session!?

　ドイツから来日している留学生の体験授業の一コマを紹介します。
　三味線の授業です。
　「さくら」を教わり、上手に奏でられるようになっていました。
　姿勢も音も見事でした。
　そして「楽しい」と言っていることが何よりも嬉しく感じられました。

本校では、高1・2の有志で、夏休み3週間、ホームステイしながら語学研修を行う「ニュージーランド研修」を行っており、今年は、7月22日～8月13日に予定しております。
　本日、説明会を実施し、多数の生徒の皆さん、保護者の皆様にお越し頂きました。
　昨年度参加した高2のお2人が話してくれた体験談を参考に、どのように夏を過ごすのか、ご家庭でご検討頂けたらと思います。
　言葉の運用力に加え、現地での様々な出会いが、私たちを大きく育ててくれるものと信じています。是非積極的に活動し、様々な経験を積んで頂きたいと思っています。
