新年度に向けて、平成22年度の活動をまとめました。Of course, in English!
In October, 11 students from Germany came to Hibari. One of them came and stayed at my house. We enjoyed talking together. We went to Sanda and we made soba. We enjoyed it with race cakes! ESS presided at the farewell party. We had dinner and made new friends. We listened to koto music and played some games. The 11 students went back to Germany after a week. I'm far away from where they are, but I'll certainly go to Germany someday!
In the afternoon of Saturday of November 6, we gave a Welcome Party for the exchange student from Canada. We ate lunch together and introduced to her Japanese culture. It was yukata that pleased her the most. Though she said that it was difficult to breathe, she liked yukata. It was good that I could make friends with her in this Party. I wish I'd be able to communicate more with overseas students from now on.
We did "Treasure Hunt" in the school festival. The theme was "Alice". We each became a character in the story of Alice in Wonderland, and gave guests the quiz we had thought of. The quiz was about our new school building. Those who visited our classroom said it was difficult, but they thought very hard. We had a good time with Disney's music on. When we were thinking about what to wear, what kind of quiz to give, I felt it was worth doing and enjoyed it very much.
