On Sunday January 23^rd, the ESS Club’s K君 participated in the final of the 28th Japan-America Society of Kobe English Recitation Contest for High School Freshmen that was held via Zoom.  The speech was the American movie star Leonardo DiCaprio’s famous address to the UN Climate Summit in 2014.  Participants had to recite it within four minutes and answer a question from the judges afterwards.  Unfortunately, K君 was not able to win a prize, but we hope this experience helps him prepare for public speaking opportunities in the future.
